Duxbury Relaxing deep-tissue massage near Powder Point — my experience

Stopped by a small massage/wellness place in Duxbury last weekend (booked a Saturday afternoon, the place is just a few blocks from Powder Point Bridge) and wanted to share my experience for anyone curious.

I went for a 60-minute deep-tissue session after a stressful week. From the moment I walked in it felt low-key and not at all clinical — soft lighting, muted music, and everything smelled clean (no overpowering oils). The receptionist was friendly and helpful; scheduling was easy and they confirmed by text the day before.

My therapist, Jenna, asked about problem areas and pressure preference before starting, which I appreciated. The massage itself was firm without being brutal — she worked through my tight shoulders and lower back and gave a few stretches at the end. I felt noticeably looser afterward and had no weird soreness the next day, just a good, relaxed feeling.

Price was in line with what I expected for the area: $85 for the hour. It’s not a bargain place, but for the level of care and the quiet atmosphere I thought it was fair. The room and linens looked freshly laundered, and parking was easy on a Saturday afternoon.

Couple of small notes: the waiting area is tight, so if you come with someone you’ll likely wait outside or in your car; also they get busy, so book at least a week ahead if you want weekend slots.

Overall I’d go back — especially when my neck acts up. If anyone else has been there or has other local suggestions (deep tissue or sports massage around Duxbury), I’d love to hear recommendations.
