Michael is truly one of a kind. He knows a lot and he's generous with his knowledge because he really wants you to feel better. He gives advice that makes you feel even better than you did from the medical massage alone. So, what's the deal with medical massages? To me, it's like getting the best massage ever from your favorite practitioner who's trained in medicine. They all want to know what's bothering you, but Michael's got a deeper understanding of the body than most. The more you tell him, the more he can help you. So don't be stoic, just tell him what happened/is happening and what you've already tried. Ask him what he thinks you could do to fix the situation. He'll give you so much info, you may want to take notes. For example, I told him I'm trying to cut back on sugar and having a hard time because I can't find a replacement I like. He asked if I'd tried allulose, and I told him I would, but I'd like to buy it locally. He said I could get it at Fred Meyer. It's a minor detail, but it's something I really care about.

I went in with swollen legs yesterday and asked if he could help with lymphatic drainage, and he did. It also reminds me to pump my feet and calves to help get the fluid out. He's been able to help with pretty much everything I've needed. It was worth the money, and I even left a nice tip. You won't be disappointed!

I asked Michael for some advice a few days before the Eugene Marathon, and he was great! I've had a nagging hip flexor and adductor issue from overuse, and he worked on it for the full session. He's a real pro and knows his stuff. Michael kept an eye on how well they could take the pressure and how comfortable they were during the session. I highly recommend it!

I've been going to Michael for almost ten years, I think. He's been great at helping keep my scoliosis from getting worse. He really knows what connects to what, what has an effect on what, "apex's," connective tissues, physiology, etc. He also gives a really good massage. He does great work.

I've been seeing Michael for over two years now because of my lower back pain and a few other issues. I've seen all sorts of doctors and specialists, like chiropractors and physical therapists. I'm lucky to have Michael's help with my treatment because it's pretty much the only time I get any relief. I also had him work on my knee and TMJ. He's been a great help with my TMJ pain and my really bad lower back pain. I think he's done a great job so far, explaining my goals and how much pressure I can handle. He's also been really patient, making sure he understands my issues and dealing with them every time we meet. If you're looking for a massage therapist who really cares about their patients' well-being, I'd definitely recommend them.

This place is great. The staff really care about their patients. Michael is the best. I was in a car accident and he really helped me.
