I'm at a loss for words to describe this awful experience.
We called ahead to let them know what we wanted for our couples massage. The person on the phone was helpful and said they could accommodate us no problem. That's where things went downhill.
When we arrived, it was obvious that the "masseuse" wasn't included, and the language barrier made it tricky to communicate. But we figured it out and made it into the room.
The room was dirty, with hair all over my bed, and the sheet they gave us to cover up barely covered us at all. As soon as they got started, I could tell right away that these weren't trained pros. I'm not sure how they're still in business, because it was the worst thing I've ever felt. They spent 30/40 minutes on our back THROUGH the sheet. I'm not a fan of massaging the same spots over and over again without rotating them evenly. My partner had to ask them over and over to go softer, but they wouldn't. At one point, they even massaged the spine and put pressure on it in a really unsafe way. After the sheet massage, they finally started using oil, but only on the back. So, at this point, we'd had an hour of back for our 90-minute massage.
And then they just stopped and both abruptly left the room. We didn't hear anything, so we just got up to get dressed. They returned a few minutes later while we were naked and said, "Oh no, lay back down. You aren't done." I've never felt so vulnerable in my life as I did when these women looked at my completely exposed body.
We got back down on the mat (a mistake on my part), and they did more back stuff with hot stones, but for like a couple minutes. There was no rhyme or reason to where they put them, no equal distribution, nothing. Then they flipped us over. After they passed by, they saw my partner wincing, and they started laughing at her. There was one point where they even punched us as part of this "massage." At the end, a third person came in because they were charging their phone in our room. They grabbed it and then checked their messages.
It was the worst 90 minutes of my life. They're not trained and I don't think they're licensed either. I'd love to see a copy of their license. They're just not professional at all. I don't get how they've gotten good reviews, since we both had such a bad time.
